DemienDemian Heald

A fifth generation Portlander and son of a carpenter turned architect, Demian Heald has both admiration for his childhood stomping grounds and a unique perspective on the needs of people living there. Demian graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Epidemiology and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.

His experience in acquiring, developing, and selling a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties includes many successful partnerships with bankers, private lenders, Portland community leaders, and local and federal bureaus as well as the FDIC. He was the first developer in the nation to contact the FDIC Department of the Ombudsman office to negotiate the sale of properties in receivership following bank failures.

Demian has consulted developers and property owners on real estate transactions, partnership structures, legal strategy, land use, asset management, and property and loan acquisitions. His valuable relationships with PORTLAND city inspectors, architects, contractors, and other trusted resources enable Ten Bridges to execute plans efficiently and seamlessly at a high level of quality. Among the many accolades he has received for his work in revitalizing Portland’s Urban Core, Demian’s TEN BRIDGES has been praised for rescuing a number of buildings and homes from urban blight or demolition.
